The Shaw Farm Inn re-opened in Spring 2016 following a major refurbishment and re-brand to a new Vintage Inn pub and restaurant. Country pub dining doesn’t get much better than at our pub with lovingly prepared dishes which are served with a generous helping of rustic charm. Savour the classic dishes, steaks and burgers, ‘Vintage Pies’ and seasonal dishes. Or join us at the end of the week for our hand carved Sunday roast with a choice of at least 2 roasts served with all your favourite trimmings. As a family friendly pub, we pride ourselves on providing good food for little people with a separate children’s menu available for them. Wash down your meal with a quality drinks selection and high quality furnishings. We are located in a beautiful setting on the edge of South Woodham Ferrers with the A130 about four minutes drive away. The original listed building, which is the restaurant, used to be a farm and dates back to the 17th Century. It looks like a quaint cottage with rose gardens to the front. There is a huge back garden and lake with ducks to feed and play boats. Outside there is seating for a few hundred! Inside there are wooden beams and two log burning fires for winter warmth. We are very family orientated and cater for children, you and your family can enjoy a delicious traditional roast meal or good food from our bar menu.
