The Talbot Inn re-opened in May 2015 following a full refurbishment and re-brand to a new Ember Inn. We are a traditional brick Grade ll listed building situated just off the main Roman London Road in Loughton village near Milton Keynes. Steeped in history it was originally a Coaching Inn and has retained many original features including open fires, exposed brickwork and beams. We offer our seasonally changing table menu which includes a wide selection of dishes to suit everyone’s tastes including starters such as beer battered mushrooms to a mixed grill from our chargrill section. There are usually specials too alongwith a separate menu for our younger customers. Look out for our great daytime and early evening set menus. We also have a good atmosphere for popping in for a quality drink – look out for our Fizz Friday and Cask Ale Club. The pub was built in 1931 and there has always been a pub on this site. Our beer garden both is a lovely place in the warmer months. People are welcome to come in for just a coffee and make use of the Wi-Fi access. Come and try out this comfortable venue soon and enjoy the great informal dining on offer. Being just a mile to the centre of Milton Keynes, the Talbot Inn is perfectly located, so next time you’re in the area be sure to pop in for a meal or quiet drink.
