Dovey Inn was built in the 17th Century and was previously known as the Ship, where sailors used to sit outside and drink. We re-opened following a refurbishment in Spring 2012. Inside is open with warm coloured decor making it very welcoming and cosy. You will see a mixture of old and new photos of the village. Located in the centre of the picturesque costal town of Aberdovey on the Dovey Estuary this black and white building lies just across the road from the marina, fifteen yards from the sea, offering spectacular views of the mountains and hills behind. Along with the local regulars our visitors include many walkers. There is a links golf course five minutes drive away in Aberdovey with a further three courses nearby. Aberystwyth is a forty minute drive from here. As well as being a popular pub and dining house, we offer letting rooms, some of which have a sea view plus luxury rooms with one of them having a fantastic free standing stone bath as a main feature! There is something for everyone here. We have free wi-fi access throughout the pub and hotel. We serve food throughout the pub, with a range of dishes which change regularly. All food is freshly prepared in-house and sourced locally whenever possible. Be sure to call in when you’re down this way and enjoy the company of this friendly venue.
