Penhelig Arms is an 18th Century Inn on the Dovey Estuary in Aberdovey. Step out of the front door and the estuary is across the road about 20 metres away! There are several golf courses in the area, attractive beaches and hill walking for the energetic. The Fisherman’s Bar is located in a self contained part of the building, where local regulars and visitors come to enjoy a quiet drink and a chat or just watch the world go by with a beautiful coal fire, a welcoming sight in the colder weather. No TVs or music makes for a pleasant environment for all to enjoy. The restaurant has a fresh look and informal atmosphere. Food is highly commended with many mentions in the leading food guides.
