The Griffin is a traditional village pub, opposite Bowdon church, drawing the majority of it’s customers from the up market surrounding area. Refurbished in Summer 2011, we are decorated with soft pastel colours of blues, greens and beiges and together with more defined zones, including comfy seating areas with leather sofas etc we offer a pleasant environment. The garden has also doubled in size, which has created an excellent alfresco dining opportunity. We have a reputation for being an excellent place to eat and a local meeting place. We employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair. You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines or the real ales are a very popular alternative. With facilities for the disabled and children being welcome there is something for everyone. You will certainly not be disappointed.
