The Castle Innis a delightful traditional Inn, built in the 1600’s and was refurbished towards the end of Summer 2015. Located on the A619 as it crosses the River Wye at Bakewell bridge. Bakewell, in the centre of the Peak District is, of course, famous for Bakewell puddings and the Inn is close to the original pudding shop. Traditional in style, open plan with live fires in Winter and lovely floral displays in Summer, the stone floor in the bar is the original. There is an excellent range of real ales and a good choice of other draught drinks. We pride ourselves on our home cooking. The superb variety of delicious meals can be chosen every day from either the main menu or Specials board. Relax in this beautiful Inn and you will discover all that is best in the traditional country Pub … charm, character and atmosphere, as well as good food and good beer. Maybe you will be tempted to prolong you visit by staying the night in one of our comfortable rooms? Also near Chatsworth House – so ideal for popping in if you have been visiting their particularly on one of their many key calendar days such as Easter. We look forward to seeing you soon.
