The Nightingale in Balham is a truly friendly and buzzing local pub loved by customers of all ages from all over London. Built as a pub on the Old Park Estate in 1869, it is a mid-Victorian cottage style pub and is Grade II listed. The Nightingale has kept a traditional feel inside too, with an open fire and very relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Young’s memorabilia can be found adorning the walls of the conservatory. This venue is definitely a country pub within the city. We always serve a great pint of Young’s as well as other popular ales.
