This very traditional one bar pub has a fire in the corner, good food, drink and a terrific atmosphere. Attracting mainly office workers from the nearby businesses, we do welcome a number of tourists who have looked into our history. The Plumbers Armswas the public house that Lord Lucan’s wife ran into to call the police when she found the family nanny dead. Our regulars enjoy the sports shown on the TVs around the pub. Most games watched are football or cricket, although any request is welcomed. We are renowned in the area for offering a fine selection of real ales and the pub is host to at least 1 or 2 festivals a year. The function room is a popular venue for all sorts of occasions and as the pub is closed at the weekends we even hire the whole building out too. Please remember that there has to be a minimum taking of £600. Our staff are all friendly and helpful, more than happy to supply you with a traditional board game of chess, draughts or cribbage from behind the bar. Why not try out a meal here, sample a quality pint and have a chat with friends old and new?
