Maltsters is a pub that, once visited, you won’t forget in a hurry! Situated in the heart of Llandaff village on the North Western outskirts of central Cardiff, Maltsters is a traditional British Inn with a contemporary style. Llandaff, itself, is a little gem. Often referred to as The City of Llandaff, it has its own stunning cathedral dating back to 1107, which is just a two minute walk away from Maltsters. The village has an attractive high street with local shops and amenities, plus a pretty village green. Located just two miles from Cardiff city centre, it is the birthplace of the children’s author Roald Dahl, who attended the nearby Cathedral school which features in his book “Boy”. Outside there are three terraces around the pub with bench seating and umbrellas. Food is freshly prepared and home cooked to order from a main menu and is served throughout the pub. Whether you are wanting a leisurely lunch, a quick snack or dinner with friends, just take a seat anywhere and enjoy the atmosphere. We’re also very proud of our beers – we are precious about how we care for our real ales and we usually have four on offer. For business or pleasure we have comfortable accommodation to make your stay a pleasurable one. Come and see us soon and take in the friendly ambience where everyone is made to feel welcome.
