The Cayo is located in Cardiff city centre, a ten minute walk from the Millennium Stadium. Historically, the name originates from a famous Welshmen called William Julian Cayo-Evans, the leader of the ‘Free Wales Army’, The venue is stylish, upmarket, gastro food and wine pub, still serving quality lagers and hand pulled real ales. Inside you will find an open plan environment with low chandeliers giving a touch of class and a wood burning fire which helps to make this a lovely place to wine and dine – a comfortable, classical setting, inherently cosy and hospitable. We aim to give an excellent service and, if you are travelling, our accommodation should impress the most discerning of guests. We also have a Function room suitable for business meetings and parties. Come and see all the changes when you are next in the area.
