The Olde House is in a residential area, situated only 11?2 miles from centre of Chesterfield, home of the crooked spire church. We are also within touching distance of the M1 (Junction 30), which is three miles away and close to the Peak District and a short drive to Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield. Dating back to 1678 the building was an old farmhouse but then established as a pub since the 1960’s. The original stone work of the farmhouse is behind the bar and this part still retains the wooden beams. The traditional yet modern neutral decor create a friendly and welcoming environment. There is an open fire and interlinked restaurant and bar. Diners can choose to eat throughout the pub in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The Olde House also boasts comfortable accommodation with all rooms having king sized beds. There are two function rooms, one which can cater for up to 200 people and this has its own facilities such as bar and toilet. We can hold any event, even weddings as we have a civil ceremony licence. Why not come to the Olde House soon?
