The Tigers Head is located in a lovely unspoilt rural area of Kent, opposite an old church in Chislehurst, only a 15 minute drive from the M25 Motorway. This 18th Century Inn was built on the foundations of a 15th Century Inn which was first owned by the Walsingham family and used by wayfarers to stop for a rest in their travels. The Tigers Head has been host to three large historical feasts, the most famous being in 1849 to celebrate the downfall of Napoleon. Today a grand welcome awaits you from the fantastic team. The low ceilings, nooks and crannies, real fires and candles on the tables all help create an atmosphere of warmth to enjoy a romantic meal. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair. You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines or real ales and other drinks are available at the bar. Why not take a break from the Motorway and head for peace of tranquillity at the Tigers Head.
