The Black Swan, built over 100 years ago, is set in the quaint village of Pease Cottage. There are two housing estates around us so we are a great place for local people to come and dine. There are just a few cottages along the road and then you are out in the country so it’s a lovely journey in and out for many of our travelling visitors who join us. We are near the M23 with its access to the town of Brighton with all it has to offer and we also have people coming from Copthorne, Burgess Hill and Crawley. Inside is traditional with old oak beams and an olde worlde theme. Photos displayed around the pub are of interest, old village pictures and some of the pub through the century. The space is open plan with wooden floors and rugs, a wide range of tables and seating to suit everyone. We have one which seat’s ten people and soft and hard furnishings. People are free to dine anywhere throughout the pub and regular locals enjoy drinking near the bar area. The beer garden can seat up to 40 people which is a lovely place to be in the summer. If you are looking for a private function room for a special occasion or meeting then we have a room available. Come and meet the team next time you are down this way.
