The Grove has an enviable location on the sea front with views from the large balcony area overlooking the sea and Esk Estuary. Situated beyond Exmouth town centre, although in a seasonal location, we remain a reasonably busy venue out of season with local regulars coming to dine here. We make every effort to hire staff for their personality, everyone is made to feel welcome when they come in and are served efficiently. This fine late Victorian building has a traditional feel with lots of wood and old pictures on the wall. The bar is one room with an open fire, and you can dine throughout the pub. Because we don’t have loud music or TVs, you can hold a conversation without having to shout over the noise. We offer full table service in the upstairs 40 cover dining room with its large balcony. This is a great venue for private and dining parties. The pleasant surroundings and large walled beer garden are attractive features in the summertime making an ideal spot to spend a lazy afternoon or evening. All our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order and we are proud to produce some excellent fish dishes, from locally caught fish. Our main menu is varied and we have a weekly changing specials board alongside for further choice. Being a family friendly venue, we welcome children and if you are visiting the area or in the vicinity why not call in and tempt yourself to a tasty meal or a quality real ale.
