The Churchill Arms – families, muddy boots and dogs with well behaved owners are welcome. The pub dates back to the early 1900s and was originally built by the local farming family who first ran it. Situated right on the edge of the New Forest the pub is within easy access of Bournemouth and the surrounding area is full of campsites and fishing sites, making this venue extremely popular for dining and drinking with both regular locals and visitors alike. Although the pub has a traditional exterior, there is a contemporary feel inside, with a neutral pastel colour scheme and local memorabilia on the walls. This creates a relaxed background for the Sport shown on the big screen. We are a popular haunt for those who enjoy pool and darts, having several teams of each. There is a great open fire and despite the open plan layout there are clearly separate areas such as the public and sports bars. When you are in the area, be sure to call in and receive a warm welcome.
