The Farrier is on the A1 North slip road which joins the A607 to Melton Mowbray. We are just one mile from the town centre of Grantham, quite a large town which holds a popular Saturday Market where half the centre is lined with stalls. Belvoir Castle, six miles from us, is well worth a visit with it’s many notable collections, including military treasures. It also plays host to many live concerts. Take a guided tour around the stunning 17th Century Belton House which was the film location for the BBC’s Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice and Tom Jones. Inside the Farrier this typical Brewers Fayre has an open plan theme where most dining families request to be seated near the Playzone so they can keep an eye on the youngsters. We also try to accommodate the adults in a slightly quieter children free area. Quality Brewers Fayre food is served at a reasonable price from an extensive menu and the children’s menu has appetizing choices for our younger visitors. With so many attractions on the doorstep it is well worth coming a little out of your way to visit, so we hope to see you soon.
