The Hammersmith Armsis a local country pub in the heart of Hammersmith. Based on the high street at the centre of the shopping area and close to local theatres. The pub used to be known as the Builders Arms and is quite a traditional English venue with one long bar and the restaurant area behind. We re-opened following a refurbishment in August 2009. We have a beautiful look and lots has changed whilst keeping that country feel, now with wooden polished floors throughout, comfy sofas and warm decor. There are dark wooden beams and a real fireplace. We offer good service and a nice, friendly great atmosphere. There are pubs offering cheaper drinks but we are more of a traditional one. Because we don’t have loud music, TVs on all the time or show premiership football, you can enjoy the art of conversation here. Being a Young’s house, we are popular for real ales and many do come in just to sample our well kept cask ales. Because of our location, we attract a large pre-theatre crowd, business people throughout the week and shoppers at weekends. All our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order, and we offer the best in traditional British pub food as well as a fantastic Sunday lunch. You can dine in the restaurant or bar area. A warm welcome awaits you.
