Situated in the centre of Hove on the outskirts of Brighton, the cosy, welcoming Blind Busker is a must for anyone visiting the area. Offering a safe, female friendly environment, ladies can walk in alone or meet friends without getting harassed. You will feel at home in this trendy yet unpretentious pub. Friendly staff help you feel at ease. With comfortable, warm leather seating, rugs, drapes and big potted plants, creams and deep reds add to the relaxed feel this bar exudes. Huge copper shades behind the bar are a feature here. There are four areas which offer personal space and provide an ideal meeting point. You can relax until the early hours with friends enjoying a premium drink or some quality pub food. This can be eaten throughout the pub or outside. Busy all the time, and popular for food the varied menu has everything from excellent burgers to swordfish and a range of homemade specials. Our homemade Sunday lunches go down a treat, with fresh vegetables and homemade trimmings including the apple sauce. Be here early to enjoy our speciality. We are proud to have been awarded a ‘Clean Food Award’ from the council. Outside on the decking area are plant pots and a sign with the blind busker on and a brief history of him. The name is inspired by the local busker known as ‘Blind Harry’ who was renowned for walking the shores of Hove in the 1800’s entertaining people for money. His grandson is a regular at the pub and is currently writing a book about him.
