The Nags Head Inn at Ainley Top re-opened in Spring 2016 following a major refurbishment and re-brand to a new Vintage Inn pub and restaurant. We have the advantage of being easily accessible from the M62 and yet in the middle of nowhere near the village of Fixby, just a few miles from the McAlpine Stadium. Built in the 17th Century, the Nags Head Inn was originally two cottages and a barn. Today this destination food house is a mixture of contemporary and traditional. Old oak beams, two open fires and quality hardwood flooring, along with fine leather armchairs and quality furniture, give atmosphere and create a cosy, welcoming ambience. Country pub dining doesn’t get much better than at our pub with lovingly prepared dishes served with a generous helping of rustic charm. Savour the classic dishes, steaks and burgers, ‘Vintage Pies’ and seasonal dishes. Or join us at the end of the week for our hand carved Sunday roast with a choice of at least 2 roasts served with all your favourite trimmings. As a family friendly pub, we pride ourselves on providing good food for little people with a separate children’s menu available for them. Outside there is plenty of seating during the summer months you can enjoy your meal al fresco, weather permitting. This is definitely a venue worth travelling a little distance out of your way to try, so we look forward to meeting you here soon.
