Paxton’s Head is Knightsbridge’s best kept secret. It is located alongside the south end of Hyde Park on the main road towards Kensington. Our clientele are a mixture of business people, advertising agents and shoppers, with 80% being regulars who work nearby. Set on three floors, this Victorian pub was built in about the 1850’s and has original oak panels, etched mirrors and glass on the ground floor with an authentic Irish bar. Below, there is a traditional lounge bar and upstairs is a modern restaurant with 43 covers. This gastro pub prides itself on it’s cuisine. All food is fresh and cooked to order from two menus. The European style menu operates throughout the pub. There is a good choice of wines to make your meal complete or, if you prefer, a wide selection of real ales or bottled drinks to choose from. Come along soon and discover the secret for yourself.
