The Kings Headis located in the close knit community of Bonsall village in the heart of the Peak District. Directly opposite the tallest Market Cross in Derbyshire, this warm, welcoming pub dates back to 1677 with the original building going back to 1649. As you would expect in this part of the world, a friendly welcome awaits walkers who come in to toast their toes in front of the real fires in the olde worlde atmosphere of low beamed ceilings and flag-stoned floors. There is a really good selection of reasonably priced, home cooked food from steaks, pies and fish dishes to curries and vegetarian options. The village is steeped in history and with so much to explore this is definitely a place to travel a little out of your way to visit. Come and enjoy a quality meal and drink with us soon.
