The Crown Inn, Old Dalby is a relaxed real ale country pub & is now back to its former glory. With new, stylish decor, fixtures & fittings it is classically traditional, coupled with a slightly more contemporary feel. The atmosphere is comfortable and classic with a quirky selection of small rooms each with a different character. We also have dining space following an extension to our restaurant. Dating back to 1590, this historic venue has retained its original charm including the original brewing room now used as the bar with its stone floor and real ale casks on the back stillage. The most popular ale is from the Belvoir Brewery up the hill and this sits alongside our guest ales, but it’s the food that has always been at the heart of this pub. On a cool evening you will find a log fire crackling in every room but if the sun is out, head for the garden which is a haven of peace and tranquility. Ask to borrow the pub boules and relax with a game of Petanque.
