The Wheatsheafis a delightful old pub located in the centre of Midhurst. The building dates back to 1621 and part of the pub used to be the Squire’s Chapel of a Catholic church. This now serves as the pub’s function room and can seat 30 people. Although half the pub still has a traditional feel with open fires and slate flooring, the other half is very contemporary with a colourful and classic look. The comfortable dining atmosphere attracts a mix of clientele as the Wheatsheaf is close to the Cowdray Park Estate and Polo club. Being just five miles from Goodwood Race Course this is a great location for tourists. Visit us soon and you’re sure to be more than impressed.
