Ye Olde Swanis less than a mile from Milton Keynes in the small village of Woughton on the Green. The pub was built in the 1730’s and is one of the oldest in the area. Fully refurbished to the typical Chef & Brewer quality, inside has a more contemporary look, yet retaining much of its original charm with open fireplaces, wooden beams, etc. It is rumoured that Dick Turpin once stayed here and that there have been ghosts, poltergeists and strange sightings! Don’t be put off though because this is a great food house which people travel to from quite a distance in order to savour the fantastic dishes on the Chef & Brewer menu. For connoisseurs of real ale we have quite a selection along with other drinks at the bar. Food can be eaten anywhere in the pub, or outside in the large garden during the summer. The friendly, efficient staff help to ensure the convivial atmosphere and comfortable ambience. If you are looking for a pub to enjoy a rather special meal or just a quality drink then you have found it at Ye Olde Swan.
