Situated in the heart of the Bohemian area of Jericho, just a short stroll from the famous spires of Oxford, you will find Jude the Obscure, a traditional pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The unusual name of Jude the Obscure is from the semi-autobiographical Thomas Hardy novel of the same name and is so called because he once resided in this area. With the feel of a traditional town pub, you will be welcomed by friendly, helpful bar staff who are excellent at their job and really work to make us the best venue in the area. You will not be disappointed by a visit to the Jude. We serve delicious food from our outstanding menu and there is a super choice of real ales on offer along with all types of other alcoholic and soft drinks. There is also a lovely heated and lit courtyard to enjoy your drink and food as you watch the world go by. It may only be a one roomed pub, but Jude the Obscure is a place not to be missed.
