The Grapes dates back to the 1700’s and has been a pub for as long as anybody can remember. One of the few real pubs left in Oxford, it has not changed much, thus retaining the character during the past 100 years. Situated opposite the new theatre, this is somewhere you can meet up with friends to have a good conversation in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere without music spoiling your chat. There is no noisy juke box, only local regulars telling good stories over soft background music. This helps to make the Grapes really special. You can enjoy any drink from our bar including a choice of four good pints of real ale. Traditional pub food is on offer every day. You will be made to feel welcome at the Grapes, the type of place which is slowly disappearing. See you soon.
