The White Horseis a traditional old pub with a warm and modern interior. Located at ‘1 London Road’ it lies on the main route into Oxford, opposite Oxford Brooks University. The present venue dates from the 1930’s, but the original pub was built before 1841! The pub has a cream and red colour scheme, an open fireplace and wooden / stone flooring. Although open-plan, the White Horse has relaxed dining areas, booth seating and a sports bar. There are also good facilities including full disabled amenities and access. We now are part of the Hungry Horse concept, offering an extensive menu with plenty of choice and lots of offers. Our positioning on the main road is just a ten minute walk from the City Centre, or if you don’t fancy the walk we’re also on the main bus routes. Whatever your reason for visiting us you will be given a warm welcome by our friendly team and clientele of regular locals and passers by alike.
