Moor Millis located in the rural area of Bricket Wood, surrounded by pleasant country walks, yet with major motorway links to the rear of the pub. Being fifteen minutes drive from Watford, this venue is off Junction 6 of the M1 and Junction 21A of the M25. This is a ‘drive to’ destination venue, which is an 18th Century working watermill, popular with families and, because of our location, with ramblers too. We have swans, ducks and geese on the river which runs around the outside of the grounds of the garden, which is basically an island. Two original waterwheels are still in operation throughout the year. The building is listed with much character and even the old mill workings are still intact inside. Busy throughout the year and fantastic for children, especially in the summer, the bar is on one level downstairs, with the restaurant upstairs on two levels. One has leather booth seating and the other floor has freestanding tables and chairs. Our passion at Beefeater Grill is chargrilling but on our menu you’ll also find succulent chicken and fish as well as fabulous salads. We have a good range of drinks to complement your meal. Outside, we have a full al fresco dining area and BBQ, with external bar seating and umbrellas. The original bridge has a cover over it to give shelter from the blazing sun or showers. Come and visit this rather special venue soon. A friendly team await your visit.
