The Rayleigh Lodge Ember Inn, previously known as Rayleigh Lodge & Dragon, is located in the centre of Rayleigh. We re-opened after an extensive refurbishment and re-brand to Ember Inn at the end of April 2015. This impressive listed building used to be Henry VIII’s hunting lodge in the 1500’s and is red brick with a sweeping drive and gardens leading up from cast iron lamp posts. We offer our seasonally changing table menu which includes a wide selection of dishes to suit everyone’s tastes including starters such as beer battered mushrooms to a mixed grill from our chargrill section. There are usually specials too alongwith a separate menu for our younger customers. Look out for our great daytime and early evening set menus. We also have a good atmosphere for popping in for a quality drink – look out for our Fizz Friday and Cask Ale Club. Our beer garden is also a lovely place in the warmer months. People are welcome to come in for just a coffee and make use of the Wi-Fi access. Come and try out this comfortable venue soon and enjoy the great informal dining on offer. Why not come along and have a fantastic time at the Rayleigh Lodge. A friendly welcome awaits you.
