The Harbour Inn is a beautiful thatch roofed traditional public house set within the stunning Devon countryside in the quaint village of Axmouth. There is some spectacular coastal scenery nearby and the beach at Seaton on the estuary is only about a mile away. The Harbour Inn dates back to the 12th Century and has a huge fireplace in the main bar where our tradition of making a huge faggot in a hazel twig bundle, which dates back hundreds of years, still happens every Christmas. Our quality food and real ales enjoyed in such lovely surroundings make this venue the perfect stopping place for lunches, evening meals and social get togethers. We are popular with the regular locals and visitors alike. There is a big campsite literally next door to us which makes us an ideal venue during the summer months. When you come and see us check out the old photos we have adorning the walls and feel free to dine anywhere you like. A lovely home made meal in this old pub with surroundings of wooden beams, wood and stone flooring is so relaxing – you really will enjoy your visit with us.
