This 14th Century Grade II listed pub is situated only 100 yards from St. Albans city centre opposite the cathedral and abbey. The pub retains plenty of history with our restaurant being the place where England declared war on Spain. With oak panelling surroundings you can relax and enjoy good pints and quality food in our bar and restaurant. At The White Hart you will always be given a warm welcome and with a friendly atmosphere we are an excellent choice for a lunchtime snack, evening out or a night’s stay in one of our several comfortable rooms. We are ideal for shoppers being next to a great shopping centre. This pub is haunted by a lady who hit her head in our restaurant.
