The Highwayman is in the small but active village of Eaton Socon just off the roundabout from the A1 turnoff. Cambridge is forty minutes drive away and Bedford is half an hour from here. We are in a residential area near the local town of St Neot’s which has a river running through, a popular place for a stroll. This Brewers Fayre was purpose built in 2003 and is fairly large. The bar area has comfy seating where you can relax over a pint of the best and watch Freeview channels on the plasma screen. The restaurant is split into four sections. Families usually sit near the Fun Factory to keep an eye on their children while adults without children sit at the opposite end which is a little quieter. Quality Brewers Fayre food is served at a reasonable price from an extensive menu and the children’s menu has appetizing choices for our younger visitors. On warm sunny days we also offer al fresco dining on the handful of tables outside with umbrella’s for shade. We are a very popular venue, partly because of the children’s facilities we offer as it is quite a way to anything similar. If you live locally or are staying at the Premier Inn come and meet the friendly, helpful team at the Highwayman.
