The Blue Lion is centrally located in Holborn close to Russell Square tube station, a ten minute walk in one direction and Kings X, St Pancras and Chancery Lane to the other. The original Blue Lion was built across the road from here in the 1600’s and rebuilt in it’s present position in 1824. Charles Dickens was known to frequent the pub and the Charles Dickens House Museum is just a three minute walk away. The ITV studios are across the road and we are frequented from time to time by today’s famous faces. You are welcome to dine throughout the pub. Come and join the regular clientele and enjoy a meal or relaxing drink, this a great place to arrange a get together.
