The White Lion, in the centre of Stevenage, is a very old building with cells existing downstairs dating back to Napoleonic days, although they are sealed off. This traditional looking listed building has been added to over the years but has a fireplace which is thought to be original. Today the layout is open plan but with two very separate areas, a public bar and a lounge area. Football can be enjoyed on our TV screens. During the day this is a typical town centre pub with shoppers, workers, builders etc. coming to enjoy their lunch or relax with friends and colleagues over a pint. Value for money pub food is served from a main menu with usually some great food offers available. We are on the local circuit in the evening and with our DJ at the weekend we are a popular place to be. Come and try us soon.
