The Ness House Hotelis Georgian, built in 1810, on the outskirts of Shaldon village overlooking the Teign Estuary and only a stones throw from the beach. Attracting holiday makers and day trippers, there are plenty of activities for families. Apart from the beautiful beach there is an 18 hole ‘pitch & putt’ and Shaldon Zoo just behind us to visit. It is fantastic in summertime when there are power boat and rowing races, fire ball yachting and summer regattas. There is also a ferry, for a small charge, which runs between Teignmouth and Shaldon. We are only seven miles from Torquay which is known as the English Riviera. Inside this attractive venue there are oak floors and memorabilia from the village on display. We offer fine dining with a range of quality wines, real ales and draught beers to complement your meal. All this served by our established team, most of whom have worked together for ten years and the kitchen staff for over two years. If possible it is advisable to book for a window seat to take in the view. We are popular with nearby businesses and locals. Come and visit us soon and perhaps stay in our accommodation to enjoy all there is to offer. You will be given a very warm welcome.
