Well situated off Junction 9 of the M62, The Swanstands in Winwick village, not too far from Warrington town centre. First built in 1888 this is now a listed public house offering a very warm welcoming atmosphere. Originally known as a drinking establishment with stables to the rear, in more recent times the pub has become a high quality food house. Our staff are all very friendly and give customers old and new helpful service. Here at the Swan you can expect homely surroundings to try a lunchtime business meal, an evening drink with friends or a family dining experience to remember. For those with romantic inclinations we are the venue to bring your partner as we have dimmed lighting and candlelit dining. Open real fires and exposed beams adds to the ambience and like all Chef & Brewers our chefs work a treat at offering you high standards of cuisine. Meals are all freshly prepared and cooked to order. There is a wide ranging menu as well as regularly changing Specials. Accompany this meal with a quality wine which can be chosen from a comprehensive selection and you will not go far wrong. There is a traditional village carnival every year in July which is well worth a visit. For those passing through why not stay at the Premier Inn next door and pop round to the Swan for a relaxed and comfortable time. The pub also has a new function room ideal for any event including private parties and meetings. Adge, Mike & the team await your visit.
