The Wavendon Arms is a country pub on the edge of Wavendon dating back to 1851 when it was the centre of village life for a thriving community, surrounded by lush farmland. We had a refurbishment at the start of 2012. Formerly known as The Leathern Bottle, the pub was once home to ‘The Oddfellows’ society, and their coat of arms still serves as the pub’s sign. Today, this beautifully designed venue has a comfortable bar and dining rooms, incorporating the pub’s original features with a log burning hearth, deep leather seating and eye-catching teak furniture. Outside it also has the bonus of a superb garden perfectly suited to alfresco dining. Our menus are designed by our chefs who are passionate about food, utilising fresh ingredients to provide a fashionable choice aiming for ‘comfort appeal’ and including ‘sharing plates’.
