Horns Inn is to be found in Colehill village on a quiet lane with little cottages around and set only three quarters of a mile outside Wimborne town centre. There is a good clientele of regular locals and people from further afield who are always welcome to our well kept attractive pub. Dating back many years the venue is traditional inside with wood panelling, flooring and dark furniture in keeping with the style. We have a wood burner in each bar and people tend to go straight for the high chairs in front of the fires to enjoy their drink. With this and candles on each table in the evening there is a really cosy atmosphere. You are welcome to dine throughout the pub although there are two areas where people can enjoy a game of darts and a drink. Dogs are welcome in this part of the pub. We are a destination food house and diners tend to eat in the lounge or out in the garden during the summer months. We have become popular by word of mouth as our homemade food really does speak for itself. We really welcome children and cater for them supplying highchairs, a children’s menu and colouring packs. Our beer garden is huge – we think the largest in the area – and when children see the three big boots and little houses they can play inside, they’re off!. We are proud to have won ‘Wimborne in Bloom – best country pub 2009’ which we are sure you will appreciate when seeing how pretty the pub looks as you arrive, with our hanging baskets, tubs and shrubs. Come and see us as soon as you can.
