Glegg Armsis located on the Heswall main roundabout at Gayton. This old building dates back to the 17th Century when it was owned by the Glegg brothers of Heswall and had a bowling green in the large back garden. Today it has a brand new look. With a mixture of booth seating and chairs, the decor is modern with greens, creams and oranges. The bar now has a traditional pub feel with a cosy, living flame, fire in the winter time and two conservatories which overlook the gardens. There are plenty of picnic benches in the garden with umbrellas to shade you from the sun and a massive children’s play area which succeeds in keeping our younger visitors amused for hours. The choice of food, wine and other drinks is extensive and can be enjoyed in the restaurant or elsewhere in the bar. During the summer time there is an outside bar and dedicated garden menu. Come and visit this extremely popular venue soon. Whatever the time of year you will be made very welcome.
