Rose Revived re-opened following a refurbishment in Summer 2015, when our hotel bedrooms, bar / restaurant and outside area all had a new look. From the social bar area to fireside cosy corners the inside has charm with comfort and modern facilities. We are a particularly popular place for an overnight stay with seven well appointed bedrooms. There are plenty of walks as we are on the Thames path, being the 198 mile route from Gloucester to the Thames Barrier. The main part of the pub is a 16th Century Grade II listed building, with the name Rose Revived going back to the days of Cromwell. We have retained its traditional character, with inglenook fireplaces and log fires blazing in the wintertime. Should you choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed. All the bedrooms have charming individual character and we usually offer deals on 2 night weekend stays. Food here is served from a Rose Revived menu and can be described as better than usual pub food. Our homemade steak pie and lasagne are especially popular, as is our Sunday roast with a choice of 3 meats. There is a large beer garden with 300 seats and an outdoor children’s play area making us a good destination during the summer months, where families come to enjoy a day out. Whatever the time of year everyone is made to feel welcome.
