The Cricketers is a traditional olde English pub which overlooks the village green at Horsell Birch. Close to Woking Shopping Centre, theatres and cinemas and only a quarter of an hour from Thorpe Park theme park, we are easily accessible from the M3 at Junction 3 and the M25 at Junction 12. This makes us a popular destination food house but also a favourite with the local regulars. The building dates back to the 17th Century and has been a jail and a shop in its day. More recently it featured in an episode of Lewis. We serve traditional British food from a main menu and Specials board, all freshly prepared and sourced locally whenever possible. An extensive choice of wines from around the world is at hand to complement your meal or, if preferred, a selection of real ales. We hold the Cask Marque accreditation which ensures your ale is served to perfection. Outside there are established landscaped gardens and a play area to keep our younger visitors amused while the adults catch up on conversation. We even have table activities for them in the pub. During Summer our outside bar with food ordering point has available ice creams, snacks and drinks. Be sure to make the Cricketers your destination next time you’re in the area. The friendly, helpful staff here will make you very welcome.
