The Quakerwood is a really good community pub in a quiet suburb of York. Situated in the centre of a private housing estate we cater for regulars and newcomers with a range of drinks, food and entertainment. Since our full refurbishment and change of concept in Winter 2011, we offer a superb selection of Flaming Grill dishes available from a varied menu. The pub is all one room split into a raised food area with a bar area with screens. We are popular for showing sport on the screen which can be enjoyed over a pint amongst friends. Our mix of ages creates a good family and sports atmosphere. Outside there is a well maintained beer garden as well as a play area for the children. This has a good range of equipment.
